Tips and precautions when whitening the armpits:

The armpits have the most sensitive skin, so be careful when using baking soda. If you feel a burning sensation, rash, redness or cracked skin while using baking soda, stop immediately and cleanse.

Choose to use hair wax instead of shaving. Hair removal not only removes hair from the roots, but also removes dead skin.

Don’t do it hard while massaging with baking soda in your armpits. Be gentle.

Don’t wear clothes that are too tight. Let your body breathe. Continuous friction and inadequate ventilation can cause dark discoloration in the armpits.

Stop using deodorants and antiperspirants. You can use sandalic essential oil, baking soda and other homemade deodorants instead of chemical deodorants.

Always do a patch test before applying any of the above folk remedies. If you notice any negative results, stop using it. Or, you’re free to use it.

Consult a doctor if you are not achieving results through folk remedies. They can be caused due to hormonal changes or any other disease.
