The basic concept of this method of skin care and face cleansing, is that the oil used to massage your skin, will dissolve the oil that has hardened with impurities and is trapped in the pores. Cleaning your face has never been as easy, practical and healthy as it is with the use of nutrient-rich oils that are also accessible in your kitchen, are healthy.
Why you should clean your face with oil?
A clear, shiny, smooth skin, free of blackheads and pimples, cysts and other imperfections, seems to be an elusive goal. The skincare industry, makes us believe that with its recommendations, and insists on the need to remove fat from the skin completely and apply burning chemicals in order to avoid these imperfections, but does it ever work?
The cycle seems to have no end. It’s exhausting, painful, embarrassing and expensive.
The skin is naturally lubricated with oil
Going to the basics, when it comes to cleansing and moisturizing the skin, it is imperative that you keep in mind that the oil dissolves the oil. Your skin is naturally lubricated with oil, and since we are creatures that adapt, you can believe that if it were not the right care for our body, it would have already adapted to meet the need.
If you’ve been fighting your skin for a long time, you’re probably backing down at the very thought of applying oil to your face. Don’t be afraid.
The oil does not grease the complexion, does not produce grains or pimples
The oil will not bring you spots, pimples, cysts, muds, white spots, etc., these are the result of several different factors, including hormones, bacteria, dead skin cells and the accumulation of these factors.
If the skin naturally produces oil, it is because it needs it. It’s not a “malicious” thing; it’s there for the benefit of your skin, allowing your larger organ to function properly.
It is of natural origin; it also heals, protects and moisturizes your skin so that it can function properly. A skin that works properly is beautiful, clear and shiny. Learn to work with your skin, not against it; it will save you a lot.
Don’t forget the water
While we’re talking about cleansing your outer skin, we also need to touch on the inner look. Drink no less than 8 glasses of water a day. If your skin has problems with blemishes, drink water.
Water will help release and remove toxins from within, reducing the load on your skin to push toxins. Carry a bottle of water with you throughout the day so that water is always available.
Castor oil and sunflower seed oil to cleanse the face
Castor oil
We’re going to need two oils. The first, and most important, is castor oil. If you don’t have this food in your basic medical kit, it’s about time. It’s easy to get. Castor oil has powerful anti-inflammatory properties, but it also has properties for healing and cleaning, so we are focusing on this oil as our main oil.
Castor oil has been the focus of many books and medical discussion, due to its seemingly “magical” healing properties. Although it may be our most important oil, you’re not going to use it in quantities that the other oil (or combination of oils) will.
A little castor oil will surprisingly leave you with dry skin.
Sunflower seed oil
Since castor oil is thick and its cleansing properties are strong, we have to dilute it with oil, thinner in consistency, but no less enriching for the skin.
Sunflower seed oil and olive oil are wonderful oils for application to the skin; however, sunflower seed oil is better for massage.
It sinks into the skin better, helping castor oil to be transported deep into the pores and helping to cleanse dirt from the surface of the skin.
Essential fatty acids, although not of natural origin in the body, are a necessity for the health of our cell membranes. These acids help restore the skin’s natural moisture balance and help prevent unnecessary dryness.
The secondary oil you choose should be determined by the need for your skin and the properties of that oil. Choose between natural cold pressed vegetable oils, as these have the nutrients, vitamins and fatty acids that mineral oil and other refined oils do not.
Remember that sunflower seed oil can be replaced by olive oil.
Need:
- 16-ounce bottle of sunflower seed oil – or olive oil.
- 16-ounce bottle of castor oil.
- Empty bottle.
- Washing cloth.
- Essential oils (optional).
The method in general:
- To make the solution, fill half of the empty bottle with castor oil. The top of the bottle with sunflower or olive seed oil closes the bottle and shakes for 1 minute. If you want to add essential oils such as lavender or tree tea, add them before shaking.
- Now that the solution is ready, you have to use it. Put 1/4 tablespoon of oil in your hand and rub the entire face dry for 1 minute. For women it will not be necessary to remove makeup, since the oil also serves as an excellent makeup remover.
- After the face is completely saturated in oil, dip the cloth in hot water, squeeze and place it on you for 30 seconds. This allows the steam to help the castor oil release dirt.
- Now rub the cloth all over your face to remove the oil. No moisturizer is needed, but if you plan to go outside, remember to apply your sunscreen if your makeup does not have.
- Do this once or twice a day and you’ll see results in a week. If you apply it once, make it at night.
