Carrier oils and conveyors
High-quality beard oil is typically composed of two distinct ingredients: carrier oil or a mixture of conveyor oils and an essential oil or a mixture of essential oils.
In this case we chose for the conveyor oil argon oil and sweet almond oil. Argon oil is not greasy and is easily absorbed into the skin. It has a high content of fatty acids that help restore the balance of natural oils in the skin. It is also rich in vitamin E which stimulates hair growth and helps repair and prevent split ends.
Sweet almond oil is light and hypoallergenic, which makes it soft on the skin. It softens and conditions the hair and skin, and helps replace the protective layer in the center of each hair, which will prevent the ends from breaking. Almond oil is rich in magnesium, zinc and calcium.
Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. It is perfect for those who are prone to acne or to having ingrown hairs. Mint leaves a stimulating sensation in the skin and hair and can help accelerate hair growth. Sweet orange is also antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. It also increases the skin’s ability to absorb vitamin C, aid in collagen production and blood flow. And, best of all, the three oils smell amazing mixed together.
Instructions for preparing the oil to grow the beard
- Add a part of almond oil and a part of argon oil.
- Use 25-35 drops of essential oil for aroma. You can use the oils in any combination you want. For example, this combination of mint, sweet orange and tea tree, or you can remove and just leave the one of your choice.
- Place the combination of oils in the amber glass bottle with a dropper. Rotate gently to incorporate.
How to Use Oil to Grow Beard Effectively?
For best results, apply the oil to a freshly washed and towel-dried beard. Drop 3-5 drops in one hand. Longer beards will require more drops, only increasing the amount of one drop at a time. Rub your hands together and then rub the oil all over the beard massaging the oil from the beard all the way to the skin.
